Frusta Vento is Italian for wind whipped; the hill top along this itinerary is whipped by the wind during winter months. The walk is mostly along dirt roads, steep and rough, therefore not for everyone. At the top of the climb there are some lovely views over the National Park and through to The Rocca Maggiore of Assisi. After descending from the north side of the hill you will reach the main road which will lead you back to Casa Rosa.
